Powder Hound Winter Triathlon
at Homestake Lodge

We are proud to announce the first winter triathlon in the state of Montana. Homestake Lodge and the Bozeman Triathlon Club are working
together to promote this event for 2009.
Date/Time: Sunday February 22nd 2009, Race Start at 10am
Registration begins at 8:30 am, Pre-race meeting at 9:45am
Distances: 5k Run, 10k Bike, 5k Nordic Ski (skate recommended)
Fees: $35 for individual, $60 for pairs (2 ppl), $75 for teams (3 ppl). Lunch is included in fee.
Stick around after lunch because your race fee includes a full day trail pass.
Directions to Race Venue: Homestake Lodge is located 3 miles down a plowed Forest Service Road right off I-90 East of Butte, MT.
Take exit 233 Homestake off I-90. If coming from Butte, head straight off the ramp down FS 240. A sign will say Homestake Lodge 3 miles ahead.
If coming from Bozeman, get off the ramp and take a right, heading south back over the overpass. Take your first left onto FS 240.
Homestake Lodge is 3 miles down the road on your right.
Facilities: Homestake Lodge has a place indoors to store bags, bathrooms, and showers are available for afterwards. There is a rental and retail shop
as well, in case racers need to rent skis for the race.
Lodging: Call for availability at Homestake Lodge. Bunkrooms are available. Rent by the bed or rent the whole room. Look on the website for rates
and pictures of rooms.

I know that winter triathlon is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run unless I am physically fit, medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision
of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I hereby certify I am in good health, and I have trained to run the distance of the race that I am entering. I assume all
risks associated with winter triathlon this event, all risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my
entry into this winter triathlon event, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release Homestake Lodge LLC, Bozeman Triathlon Club, all sponsors, their
representatives and successors, from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness
on the part of the persons or entities named in this waiver. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use my photographs, motion pictures, recordings, videos or any other recording
of this event for legitimate purpose.
